CI Flexo Printing Machine | XIAOPAI
A CI (central impression) flexo printing machine prints multiple colours around a single large central drum. The web wraps the drum and each colour station prints in sequence without the web leaving the drum surface, so registration stays stable even on stretchy film. This is the standard press for flexible packaging printing.
KEY SPECIFICATIONS
Type: CI central impression flexographic press
Colours: Multi-colour configurations, commonly 6 to 10 stations
Substrates: Film, foil, laminates, paper and label stock
Drive: Gearless servo drive with sleeve system on modern configurations
Registration: Stable registration from the central drum web path
Drying: Inter-station drying with hot air or UV depending on ink
Control: PLC with recipe memory, job save and automatic registration
Compliance: CE marking, ISO 9001 manufacturing
WHY THIS MATTERS
CI is the right architecture for extensible film. Because the web stays wrapped on the central drum through all stations, there is no path length change between colours, which is what causes misregistration on stack and inline presses.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
Flexible packaging film printing
Label and shrink sleeve printing
Paper and board packaging printing
Foil and laminate printing
Short and long run packaging print
BUYING THROUGH XIAOPAI
XIAOPAI (Wenzhou Xiaopai Power Technology) runs two equipment modules, flexible packaging equipment and power transmission equipment, and works as a foreign-trade service provider and authorized distributor, not a factory. We source packaging equipment against your structure and output target, then carry the export process, installation supervision, operator training and after-sales. For solventless laminating machines we work as the authorized global distributor of SINSTAR (Chongqing).
FAQ
Q1: CI or stack type press?
A1: CI for extensible film and high registration accuracy. Stack type is more economical and easier to access, and suits paper and less demanding substrates. If you print stretchy film in multiple colours, CI is the answer.
Q2: Gearless or gear driven?
A2: Gearless servo with sleeves gives faster changeover and no gear marks, and is now the mainstream choice. Gear driven is cheaper and still viable for long runs with few changes.
Q3: How many colours do I need?
A3: It depends on your artwork. Most flexible packaging runs four to eight colours including white and varnish. We recommend sizing to your most complex regular job, not your average one.
