This slitter rewinder is configured specifically for film, foil and laminate webs. The difference from a general-purpose machine is in tension control and slitting accuracy: film stretches, foil fractures, and laminates can delaminate at the edge if the slit is wrong. Each needs a different approach.

Q1: Can one machine handle both film and foil?
A1: Usually yes, but confirm the tension range and slitting method for each. Foil needs lower, more precise tension than film. Tell us the mix and we will specify the machine to cover both.
Q2: How do I prevent edge delamination on laminates?
A2: Use shear slitting with correctly set blade overlap and penetration, and keep tension stable through the slit point. Wrong blade setup is the usual cause of delamination at the edge.
Q3: What tension range do I need?
A3: It depends on material gauge and width. Give us your material, gauge and finished roll diameter and we will specify the tension range and control method.
